Test Engineer

• Perform test and validation of complex electro-optical systems.
• Conduct acceptance testing of deliverable systems prior to customer delivery.
• Diagnose, report, and assist in resolving hardware faults at system and PCB level.
• Provide technical support for system demonstrations and customer enquiries.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Occasional travel to customer sites in the UK and overseas.

• Proven experience in testing and verification of electronic systems.
• Strong hardware debugging and component-level testing skills.
• Excellent technical problem-solving and repair capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of optical/video systems and related standards.
• Experience with video systems and protocols.
• Familiarity with software development in C#.
• Ability to produce detailed technical reports.
