Job description

In this position, you will play a key role as an internal IT Infrastructure expert, delivering efficient, reliable, and proactive IT services across Manufacture Belge de Chocolats. You will ensure the maintenance and support of the existing IT infrastructure and actively contribute to the deployment of new technologies aligned with the Global IT strategy.

In this role, you will be assigned the following tasks:

  • You will provide helpdesk and advanced support to users, handling incidents and service requests through effective ITSM and incident management processes.

  • You will act as a key liaison between users, other internal technical teams, and external vendors on technical matters.

  • You will maintain, support, and continuously improve the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, operating systems, and related software.

  • You will participate in the deployment, administration, and monitoring of LAN, WAN, wireless networks, firewalls, and network devices to ensure optimal performance and availability.

  • You will monitor infrastructure performance, proactively identify issues, and perform root cause analysis to support problem management and continuous improvement.

  • You will support hardware and network integration projects, ensuring solutions meet end-user requirements and align with business and IT strategy.

  • You will research, evaluate, and recommend hardware, software, and third-party solutions, supporting procurement, upgrades, and technology evolution.

  • You will perform system upgrades, improvements, and integration testing to ensure reliability and security of IT services.

  • You will support business continuity activities and respond to incidents and crises in accordance with the relevant plans.

  • You will administer and provide support for key collaboration platforms, including Microsoft 365, Intune, and SharePoint.

Requirements

  • You are graduated from a Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent.

  • You have proven experience in IT infrastructure (3 to 5 years).

  • You are bilingual in Dutch and French, and have a good command of English.

  • You have solid experience in Fortinet firewall administration and Cisco network switch configuration.

  • You are familiar with global networking environments.

  • You have hands-on experience in Voice over IP, including Microsoft Teams and Unify telephony system configurations.

  • You are proficient in Microsoft Azure AD, Intune, SharePoint, Office 365, and Windows Server / Windows 11 environments.

  • You have experience with Veeam Backup & Restore, and VMWare.

  • You are confident in HP server management and troubleshooting Canon printing solutions.

  • You have a strong command of Zabbix monitoring tools and ticketing systems.

  • You are skilled in managing mobile devices, laptops, and GSMs, ensuring a smooth user experience.

  • You have good knowledge of hardware and web applications from an infrastructure support angle.

  • You are passionate about IT and eager to learn.

  • You have a hands-on approach and a desire to support and help your colleagues.

  • You are well organized and able to set and manage priorities.

  • You are pragmatic and solutions-oriented.

  • You have an analytical mindset and a strong attention to detail.
