Job description
Join the SimpliFi program as a Full-Stack Software Engineer (Python/Angular) to build and evolve SimpliFi Studio, the "one-stop" UI for a global Azure-based data platform that unifies financial data across Operating Entities (Oes). You'll deliver end-to-end web solutions-Angular on the front end and Python/FastAPI on the back end-integrated with Azure Functions, SAP touchpoints, and robust data lineage and quality controls. Your work will directly enable secure, compliant, and transparent reporting at scale.
What you do
- Design, develop, test, and ship full-stack features for SimpliFi Studio (Angular + Python APIs).
- Translate business and technical requirements into clean software designs and user-centric UIs.
- Implement secure authentication/authorization, permissions, and data flow orchestration on Azure.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and back-end-for-front-end (BFF) logic with Python (e.g., FastAPI/Flask).
- Integrate third-party components and SAP/feeder systems to ensure reliable end-to-end experiences.
- Establish monitoring, logging, and performance tuning for resilient, scalable applications.
- Document solutions and follow best practices for code quality, testing, and maintainability., When we do work with recruitment agencies, that engagement is formalized by a contract. Fees will only be paid when there is a contract in place. Without a contract in place, we will not accept invoices on unsolicited resumes, even if the candidate was ultimately employed by Allianz.
Requirements
- Proven experience in full-stack development, ideally with Angular for front-end and Python for back-end services.
- Ability to design, implement, and test RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end functionality.
- Familiarity with Azure Functions and cloud-native development practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, collaborative mindset, and clear communication.
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience with Java for backend tasks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to libraries like NDBX or similar UI frameworks.
- Understanding of security, performance tuning, and scalability best practices.
If you don't tick every box, that's okay! We value curiosity and a willingness to learn. If you're passionate about building impactful solutions, we'd love to hear from you.
