In this role, you'll develop solutions that ensure high availability and low latency for sales applications, collaborating with stakeholders across architecture, development, testing, and leadership to meet and exceed expectations. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies, including AWS, GitHub, Kubectl, Helm, Dynatrace, and ServiceNow.

What you do
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define DevOps strategies and best practices.
- Communication with upper management to provide project updates and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Design and develop cloud-based solutions, considering scalability, security, and regulatory compliance requirements specific to the insurance industry.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of our cloud infrastructure and services, identifying and resolving any performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal efficiency and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to our cloud infrastructure, services, and applications.
- Keep up to date with the latest cloud technologies, security practices, and industry trends in the insurance domain, making recommendations for improvements, cost reductions, and innovation., When we do work with recruitment agencies, that engagement is formalized by a contract. Fees will only be paid when there is a contract in place. Without a contract in place, we will not accept invoices on unsolicited resumes, even if the candidate was ultimately employed by Allianz.
Requirements
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of AWS and respective services (RDS, EKS, Elasticache).
- Experience with common CI/CD Tools GitHub, Jenkins, IaC best-practices.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, NodeJS) and automation tools to streamline insurance operations on the cloud.
- Familiarity with security best practices and implementing robust security controls to protect sensitive insurance data.
- Experience in incident management and resolution. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
- Ability to be take part in on-call duties to provide support during our customer's business hours in a different time zone.
Desired (not required):
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Engineer).
- Experience with one or all of the following tools: Apigee, Akamai, Service NOW.
