Digital Risk & Compliance team operates at Sanofi's scale as a transversal Centre of Expertise serving the whole Digital Function.### Main responsibilities:* Collaborate with business teams to identify and translate data-driven opportunities into technical requirements, while effectively communicating complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders to influence decision-making and ensure alignment with overall business goals.* Gather relevant data from various sources, and perform relevant analysis to propose and implement relevant data models for each business case* Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to extract insights from datasets* Design, implement and fine-tune AI/ML models using various algorithms and tools* Presenting findings through clear and informative charts, graphs, and dashboards* Support senior team members in understanding business teams requirements, and translate them into technical needs* Presenting findings through clear and informative

charts, graphs, and dashboards The Digital Data Scientist plays a crucial role in leading data analysis and science, and usage requirements, focusing on data- and integration-intensive initiatives related to digital risk and compliance. You will work closely with Digital and business stakeholders to understand requirements, analyze data, and provide insights that support decision-making and risk management in our digital landscape.This role is key in supporting Sanofi's digital risk and compliance efforts, ensuring that data-driven insights inform our risk management strategies and compliance initiatives. ### The profile of the colleague we'd love to work with:### Experience: Over 3 years of experience of handling complex data science projects in varied business contexts, with experience in healthcare or risk and compliance being a strong plus:* Hands-on AI/ML modeling (possibly through internships/academic work)* Ability to perform exploratory data analysis* Knowledge in production-ready software development* Experience in developing deployable models### Education:* Preferred qualifications: Master's Degree or PhD in mathematics, computer science, engineering, physics, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline with strong coding skills### Soft skills:* Strong curiosity and eagerness to learn new concepts and technologies* Good communication skills, both written and verbal* Problem-solving ability and analytical thinking* Attention to detail in data handling and analysis* Ability to contribute to a diverse and inclusive team environment* Willingness to ask questions and seek guidance when needed* Experience in developing deployable models### Technical skills:* Experience in developing deployable models* Proficient in Python programming and familiarity with big data concepts and tools* Comfortable working in cloud and high-performance computing environments (e.g. AWS, GCP, Databricks, Apache Spark)* Ability to use standard visualization tools to create reports and dashboards (such as Tableau, PowerBI, …)* Awareness of responsible AI principles and AI regulations* Knowledge of software development practices and version control (e.g., Git)* Experience in developing deployable models### Languages:* English is required.
