Introduction Our client is looking for a passionate Product Owner who will work with software and technical teams to work on Defence and Public Sector clients. You'll be responsible for defining and driving the product vision and leading multidisciplinary teams to prioritise the highest value work. You will need to have Defence/Government experience within a similar role to be considered. Working Patterns: This role is remote with 1 day per month in Gloucester and occasional travel to London. Key responsibilities Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with business and customer needs. Translate business objectives into a compelling product strategy and actionable roadmap. Own and manage the product backlog, prioritising features, user stories, and enhancements to maximise value and impact. Partner closely with UX/UI designers, software engineers, and key stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital solutions on time. Gather and analyse user feedback and insights to continuously improve the product experience and performance. Act as the voice of the customer in Scrum ceremonies, ensuring clear requirements, alignment, and timely delivery of product increments. Monitor product performance, user adoption, and key success metrics to inform prioritisation and future strategy. Stay up to date with digital trends and emerging technologies. Propose innovative ideas to keep the product portfolio competitive and forward-thinking. Skills & experience Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within Defence/Government/Public Sector. Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience owning a Product and working with Software/Data/UX Engineers. Additional benefits Flexible working arrangements.
