Senior Network Security Engineer

• Delivering hands-on BAU support across multi-vendor firewall and network environments.
• Managing incidents, requests, patching cycles and event monitoring as part of a 24/7 shift team.
• Acting as the senior escalation point on shift, ensuring SLAs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
• Leading change activity, including planning, documentation and CAB/TAB engagement.
• Mentoring colleagues and helping maintain high standards across the Managed Services function.
• Taking ownership of major operational improvements and driving better tooling and compliance.

• Experience with at least two major firewall vendors in order of preference (FortiGate, Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco).
• Strong networking knowledge including core routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
• Solid background in operational support: BAU, configuration, troubleshooting.
• Comfortable working in a structured 24/7 environment with clear processes., * BGP
