DevOps Engineer

THE OPPORTUNITY Build and operate the cloud platform that powers Lingos global regulated digital health products. Your work will enable high availability, rapid product iteration and trustworthy experiences for customers and partners. You will deploy and run resilient multi-region cloud infrastructure and services that meet high-availability and disaster-recovery requirements ensuring our digital health products are reliable at global scale. Youll embed compliance-by-design (HIPAA/GDPR) with automated

governance and auditable controls so teams can move fast without compromising trust. Youll collaborate closely with Cloud Architect Backend Data Security Product and Compliance to align platform capabilities with product goals including support for real-time and batch data workloads. WHAT YOULL DO * Code automate and manage multi-region infrastructure (K8s VMs/VMSS VNETs App Gateway Private Endpoints) using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform Helm/Kustomize). * Build CI/CD pipelines for backend mobile/web data and ML workloads (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps) enabling trunk-based development blue/green and canary releases and artifact governance. * Secure-by-design operations: manage identity and secrets enforce policy-as-code deliver SBOM and dependency/container scanning and maintain auditable change controls. * Ensure compliance while shipping quickly: align pipelines and deployments with HIPAA/GDPR SOC 2 and medical device software expectations (e.g. IEC 62304 ISO 13485) in partnership with Security and Quality. * Engineer resilience: HA/DR patterns backup/restore testing multi-region failover chaos exercises and capacity planning to support 99.9% availability at global scale. * Optimize performance and cost: autoscaling right-sizing tiered storage and usage observability across compute network and data services. * Enable AI/ML operations: provision GPU-ready K8s node pools support model serving and real-time inference integrate MLflow and auto-scale event-driven workloads. * Improve developer experience: deliver paved paths reusable templates and internal platform tooling to accelerate secure consistent delivery across teams. * Collaborate cross-functionally with Backend Data Mobile Security and Compliance to remove obstacles in a regulated environment and ship confidently. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * 5 years in DevOps/SRE/platform engineering for cloud-native distributed systems; hands-on with Kubernetes in production. * Strong Infrastructure-as-Code and automation skills (Terraform Helm/Kustomize) plus scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell). * Proven CI/CD design and operation experience (GitHub Actions) including blue/green canary and environment promotion strategies. * Observability expertise: logs metrics tracing (Prometheus/Grafana OpenTelemetry Log Analytics); incident management and on-call ownership. * Solid networking and security fundamentals (TLS DNS load balancing VNET design network policies WAF). * Clear communication stakeholder alignment and ability to connect reliability and speed to business outcomes. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * GitOps tooling (Argo CD/Flux) policy-as-code (OPA/Gatekeeper Sentinel) service mesh (Istio/Linkerd). * Experience implementing DevSecOps controls and audit-ready pipelines; understanding of HIPAA/GDPR/SOC2 requirements. * Success working in regulated environments; understands medical device software constraints and QMS-aligned change control/documentation. * Kafka/Event Hub and real-time stream processing; GPU scheduling and autoscaling for ML workloads. * Experience with ISO 27001 IEC 62304 ISO 13485 or computer system validation (CSV) practices. * Internal developer platforms/portals (e.g. Backstage) and self-service infrastructure design. * Cost optimization at scale and multi-region architecture for high-volume data (e.g. 100M daily biosensor readings).
