Job description
A hands-on QA engineer whose primary objective is to review, assess, define, and execute the QA roadmap to improve unit, integration and functional test coverage for Java / React and Python based applications. Close collaboration with Software Engineers and Business Analysts to understand what should be tested and how. Independent execution of the testing activities to ensure timely detection and resolution of quality issues and increased transparency over the quality level of the development deliverables. Direct reporting to the Software Development Lead. Location
Hybrid. 3 days a week in the office. Testing Focus

Requirements
4 years in QA domain. Documentation XRAY [optional]. JIRA + Gitlab integration [must].
Practical experience in the following QA activities and toolsets :
- Unit / integration tests: Frontend - Vitests, MWS for API mocking. Backend - Junit, Mockito, Testcontainers, Lettuce, Jacoco. Python - PyTest / unittest.
- Functional: Selenium, Katalon, Cucumber E2E integration / Functional Playwright, PactFlow. Security / Vulnerability / Code Quality: OWASP, ZAST.
- Semgrep Stress / Load / Performance: Comfortable understanding / navigating through source code in Java - including Spring Boot 2 / 3, JavaScript / TypeScript - including React frontend framework, Python - including Pandas data ETL frameworks.
Additional Experience
Experience of selenium grid would be considered an asset. Education
