Job description
This role will provide 1st line IT support a large customer base, ensuring the highest levels of customer service are maintained.
Working to ITIL principles, you will ensure that all IT policies and procedures are maintained whilst managing user/customer expectation.
Duties include;
- Speaking to customers over the phone, in person, remotely - via chat / email to capture, record and resolve technical problems.
- Resolving technical issues and logging / tracking tickets
- Taking ownership of customer technical issues to ensure they are carried through to completion.
- Escalating issues where required to IT team.
- Support the IT service desk team.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, We are seeking a 1st Line IT Support Technician with a flair for problem solving. (Transport essential for this role)., * Customer focussed and confident on the phone supporting customers.
- Hands on, flexible and pro-active approach with willingness to learn.
- Methodical approach to issue diagnosis
- Well organised with excellent time management skills and ability to work without supervision
- Good working knowledge of MS Windows - essential
- Understanding of MS Exchange and AD (Users and Computers).
- Experience of mobile device and application management across Microsoft, Apple and Android platforms (not essential)
- Full driving license and access to own transport (Essential)!
- Technology related customer service experience.
- A people person, who enjoys interacting and talking to people on a daily basis
