Job description
I'm looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join a global reinsurance client on a 6-month Inside IR35 contract. You'll play a key role in a major back-office transformation and help build a brand-new enterprise data warehouse. Role Overview
- Build, enhance, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake & DBT
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Support the design and delivery of a new enterprise data platform
- Develop and maintain SQL-based transformations and models
- Collaborate with ingestion, visualisation, and engineering teams
- Work within Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
Requirements
- Strong SQL skills
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake & DBT
- Solid understanding of data modelling and transformation layers
- Experience with Azure DevOps / CI/CD
- Ability to work end-to-end across data engineering workflows
- Insurance or reinsurance experience is essential
