Job description

As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of bespoke mechanical and automation solutions. Working as part of an experienced engineering team, you will:

  • Produce 3D and 2D designs for machinery, assemblies, and components.
  • Support product development from concept through to manufacture.
  • Liaise with production, automation, and fabrication teams to ensure accurate design interpretation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and optimisation of machine performance.
  • Provide technical support across multiple ongoing engineering projects.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Requirements

This role is open to Junior, Graduate, and Senior level engineers, with tailored responsibilities depending on You'll Need to Succeed

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks or similar).
  • Strong mechanical understanding of machinery, automation, or manufacturing systems.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
