Infrastructure Architect

Do you have experience in TOGAF?, * 7-10 years of proven experience in software architecture or platform infrastructure engineering roles

Core Technical Expertise Required:

• Python development utilizing contemporary patterns and industry best practices
• RESTful API implementation leveraging FastAPI framework
• Asynchronous task processing using frameworks such as Celery and RabbitMQ
• Graph database modeling with ArangoDB or equivalent graph database technologies
• Schema validation and data modeling through Pydantic
• Distributed systems architecture with microservices-based design patterns

Professional Background & Technical Capabilities:

Backend Development:

• Advanced proficiency in Python engineering with hands-on experience in FastAPI, Pydantic, and Celery frameworks

System Architecture:

• Comprehensive knowledge of modular and distributed software development
• Extensive background in designing high-availability system architectures
• Proven track record in microservices architecture including synchronization mechanisms, data replication strategies, and consensus protocols
• Proficiency in architectural design patterns including Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and event-driven architectures

Data Architecture:

• Hands-on experience modeling data across multiple paradigms: relational, document-based, and graph structures
• Demonstrated ability in designing RESTful API architectures

Security & Access Control:

• Working knowledge of authentication and authorization frameworks (IAM, RBAC, OAuth, OIDC)

Messaging Infrastructure:

• Proven ability in architecting message broker solutions supporting both asynchronous and synchronous communication patterns
• Familiarity with service discovery mechanisms and related systems

Container Orchestration & Cloud-Native:

• Strong grasp of Kubernetes fundamentals including namespaces, services, deployments, and ingress controllers
• Understanding of complementary technologies such as service mesh architectures

Monitoring & Observability:

• Solid foundation in observability principles encompassing logging, metrics collection, and distributed tracing
• Practical experience with observability tooling including Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry

Team Collaboration & Delivery:

• Track record of contributing to technical engineering teams in production environments
• Demonstrated success building microservice-based solutions for production deployment
• Expertise delivering scalable backend infrastructure within Agile and DevOps methodologies

Language Requirements

• Professional English proficiency in both verbal and written communication (minimum C1 level)
• German - Nice to have, * Professional certifications in architecture, cloud platforms, or information security (such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP credentials) are beneficial
• Familiarity with observability platforms including Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
• Background in infrastructure platforms, Infrastructure-as-a-Service delivery models, and API-centric platform architectures
