Tasks

• Design and operate enterprise networks, ensuring stability and performance.
• Develop the ICT landscape, defining standards, concepts, and compliance.
• Lead ICT projects, focusing on automation and cloud transformation., * You are responsible for the design, operation, and further development of our enterprise networks (LAN/WAN/WLAN, SD-WAN, Zero Trust) and ensure stability, capacity, and performance through continuous monitoring, analyses, and optimizations.
• You shape the ICT landscape of SZU holistically - from networks to servers, storage, and virtualization to cloud solutions - define technical standards, create concepts and specifications, and ensure compliance with compliance and security guidelines.
• You analyze and resolve complex disruptions, implement robust security measures, and work closely with cyber security teams while driving automation (Python, Ansible, IaC) and cloud transformation (SASE, ZTNA) to increase efficiency and security.
• You lead strategic ICT projects throughout the entire lifecycle, are responsible for roadmaps and innovation initiatives, and continuously develop the infrastructure in line with SZU's digitization and cloud strategies.

• ICT qualification or equivalent experience as a Senior System Engineer needed.
• Expertise in network architecture, ITIL processes, and project management.

Are you familiar with complex ICT environments and technical architectures and do you have many years of experience in project, risk, and quality management? Do you possess deep network know-how and can you ensure the operation as well as the control, monitoring, and maintenance of ICT services for operational business in heterogeneous environments? Are you a communicative, service- and solution-oriented personality who can competently inform and advise users in operational and cross-company operations? • You are familiar with network architecture, ITIL processes, and project management and bring know-how in TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, VPN, DNS, DHCP, WLAN as well as with manufacturers such as Cisco, HPE, Fortinet, and Microsoft.
• Virtualization (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V), storage, and cloud services (Microsoft Azure, M365, Entra ID) are also part of your daily routine.
