Job description
To support and operate the day-to-day IT infrastructure that enables STARK's teams to perform at their best. As a Working Student in IT Operations, you will be the on-site point of contact for office IT, ensuring hardware, workstations, and systems are prepared, maintained, and ready for mission-critical work.
You will play a key role in keeping our internal operations running smoothly, directly supporting engineers, operators, and corporate teams across the company.
Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for on-site IT support, handling walk-up requests and hardware or software issues.
Monitor and respond to IT tickets and internal support channels, resolving common issues and escalating complex cases to the core IT team.
Support office desk setups, peripherals, and accessories to ensure a productive working environment.
Maintain accurate inventory and asset tracking of laptops, peripherals, and IT equipment throughout their lifecycle.
Prepare, image, and configure workstations for new hires to ensure a smooth and professional Day 1 onboarding experience.
Support offboarding by collecting, refurbishing, and re-issuing equipment in line with internal standards.
Proactively organize and manage physical IT inventory and storage areas.
Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS?, Currently enrolled as a student, preferably in a technical, IT, or business-related field.
Solid understanding of computer hardware and operating systems, including macOS and Windows.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical steps clearly to non-technical colleagues.
Hands-on, proactive mindset with a willingness to engage directly with the internal team.
Service-oriented attitude, with patience and professionalism when supporting colleagues.
High level of reliability and integrity when handling company assets and access.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Nice to have
Previous experience in IT support, helpdesk, or office IT operations.
Familiarity with asset management tools or ticketing systems.
Interest in IT infrastructure, operations, or systems administration.
