Your daily tasks will include
âï¸ Designing and implement data pipelines and workflows, ensuring efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
âï¸ Monitoring and optimizing data pipeline performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to ensure seamless data flow.
âï¸ Assisting in designing and developing enterprise-level data architectures to create scalable and efficient data processing pipelines.
âï¸ Contributing to the creation of technical roadmaps and data strategies that drive data initiatives.
âï¸ Exploring and evaluating new data technologies and methodologies, developing proof-of-concepts to validate their applicability.
âï¸ Collaborating with senior engineers, software engineers, data scientists, and analysts to learn data engineering practices, understand data needs, and develop effective solutions.
Requirements
âï¸ Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer with an analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
âï¸ Expertise with: ETL/ELT Tooling, Data Modelling, Data Catalogs, Data Governance
âï¸ Hands-on experience with: Python, SQL, Java, Scala and/or Rust as well as Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, dbt, Infrastructure as Code, Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
âï¸ Fluency in German and English
Benefits & conditions
Austria: The law stipulates that the minimum wage must be specified in job postings. The minimum salary is 53.802 euros/year in the collective agreement. Adequate to your skills, we are willing to pay much more.
