SCADA Developer

As a SCADA Developer, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining SCADA systems that ensure reliable monitoring and control of industrial processes. You will work at the intersection of IT and operational technology, creating solutions that enhance efficiency, visibility, and control across industrial environments.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Designing and configuring SCADA systems to monitor and control industrial processes effectively
• Developing intuitive HMI screens and dashboards that provide operators with clear visibility of process data
• Working with sensors, PLCs, and other field devices to ensure proper integration with SCADA systems
• Implementing and managing alarm systems to alert operators of critical process deviations
• Configuring data collection, storage, and reporting systems to support operational decision-making

• You have 2-5 years of experience in SCADA development or industrial automation
• You possess either an IT background with strong interest in automation or an automation background eager to deepen SCADA expertise
• You are fluent in Dutch and English
• You have basic electrical knowledge, including the ability to connect and disconnect sensors
• You are familiar with networks, Windows environments, and databases
• You demonstrate knowledge of PLCs, OPC UA, and scripting languages (advantage)
• You are a problem-solver with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
