AWS Cloud Engineer

We are seeking certified AWS Cloud Engineers with proven experience in migrating applications and databases from on-premises environments to AWS Cloud. Candidates will be key team members responsible for enabling, supporting, and guiding the existing team in preparing, executing, and migrating a suite of applications and databases from an on-premises data center to AWS Cloud. The successful candidate will also transition to product teams, adopting a multidisciplinary role and contributing to various initiatives across different domains.

• 4 years of IT Infrastructure experience, covering all components of AWS migration in a typical organization.
• Proven track record in migrating on-premises environments to AWS Cloud.
• Deep knowledge of AWS public and hybrid cloud architecture.
• Experience managing staged migrations from data centers to the cloud, including Discovery, Assessment, Migration, Assurance, and Operational Support.
• Expertise in performance and cost optimization of cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with database migration tools for SQL, Oracle, and other databases.
• Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud offerings.
• Practical knowledge of AWS DevOps.
• Experience migrating applications from IaaS to PaaS and SaaS.
• Proficiency in designing cost-effective compute, storage, and networking solutions in AWS.
• Skilled in implementing disaster recovery solutions in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with compliance factors-tagging, configuration standards, vulnerability remediation, hardening, AMI creation, and patching.
• Expertise in defining VPCs for enterprises with Direct Connect and VPNs.
• Practical knowledge of core AWS architecture and services, such as EC2, IAM, RDS, S3, VPC, Monitoring, and Backup Design.
• Serve as a cloud advisor for Coforge clients.
• Act as an SME with hands-on migration expertise.
• AWS Professional Solutions Architect certification.
