Job description
Our client is one of the biggest hedge funds in the world, managing investments for a wide array of institutional clients, including foreign governments and central banks, corporate and public pension funds, university endowments, and charitable foundations. We have a group of around 100 engineers (Devs, QAs, BAs, and Project Managers) distributed between Westport, USA, and Malaga, Spain, working on one big solution.
You'll be providing overall ownership and governance of the Workday implementation/support effort, including responsibilities for stakeholder engagement and business alignment; solution oversight and design approval; coordination with the Local Lead Workday Developer / Senior BA; risk management and escalation handling; and final accountability for delivery outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced Workday configuration and development activities
- Build and maintain integrations such as EIBs, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio
- Create and manage reports, dashboards, and calculated fields in a Workday environment
- Conduct unit testing, resolve defects, and maintain technical documentation
- Work under the direction of the Local Lead Workday Developer / Senior Business Analyst
Requirements
Do you have experience in Workday?, * Strong hands-on experience (3+ years) with Workday configuration and development, including expertise in one or more of the following areas: Workday HCM, Payroll, Financials, Integrations, Reporting, and Security
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills in high-pressure environments
- High ownership of work (maintaining high standards for personal output and being determined to deliver the best results)
- Detail-oriented while also maintaining a bigger-picture perspective (can focus on completing the task at hand while also understanding broader objectives)
- Security-minded and perceptive to potential problems (notices when possible security issues or general concerns arise and takes appropriate action)

- A team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate closely with developers
- English proficiency at a B2+ level
