Senior PKI Engineer

• Administer internal PKI systems, including Nexus Certificate Manager, Active Directory Certificate Services, and Venafi Trust Protection Platform
• Advise and assist other teams with their cryptographic needs
• Resolve incidents related to cryptography
• Participate in Watch Duty rotation to respond to production issues (approximately 1 day per week)

• Experience with operating an internal PKI
• Strong knowledge and experience with Ansible
• Understanding of practical and theoretical aspects of PKI and cryptography (e.g., X.509, elliptic curve cryptography, post quantum cryptography)
• Deep technical understanding of common cryptographic protocols (CMS, SCEP, ACME, SAML, TLS, etc)
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, Powershell, and Java preferred)

Nice to Haves

• Broad range of experience across the IT industry
• Comfort with black box debugging tools such as Microsoft ETW, Linux strace, tcpdump, wireshark, etc
