Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in designing and managing resilient enterprise infrastructures, and who thrives in cross-functional environments. You will act as a key point of coordination between software development teams and infrastructure/security departments, ensuring seamless integration to facilitate on time delivery of key epics of the Tribe., * Act as the bridge between development teams and infrastructure/security units for new projects, ongoing maintenance, and production support.

• Translate software development requirements into clear, actionable infrastructure specifications.
• Design infrastructure solutions based on non-functional requirements (e.g., scalability, availability, security) and collaborate with infrastructure teams for implementation.
• Lead investigations and troubleshooting efforts for infrastructure and security-related incidents.
• Coordinate cross-team activities, managing dependencies, risks, and timelines.
• Apply principles of software architecture, resilience patterns, and data replication (synchronous/asynchronous) to infrastructure design.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to identify challenges and drive improvements.
• Align with Enterprise Design Owners (EDOs) to translate business needs into technical requirements and present them to GTS/CISO stakeholders.
• Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Quarterly Planning (QP) demands, ensuring timely execution and follow-up.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and changes with urgency and ownership.
• Proactively identify and resolve operational impediments.
• Support onboarding of new team members, including access and security setup.
• Maintain active engagement with GTS/CISO teams, particularly GTS-IES.
• Own and follow up on requests to CISO (FU & GRP) with accountability.
• Participate in daily and weekly infrastructure-related project follow-ups.
• Demonstrate initiative and take on responsibilities beyond the minimum scope.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with technical stakeholders across teams.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering within enterprise environments.
• Proven expertise in managing highly resilient infrastructures.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, and Mainframe systems.
• Advanced knowledge of:

• Middleware and databases (e.g., SQL Server, MongoDB)
• Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Nutanix)
• Storage systems and networking
• Container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS)
• DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Security practices (e.g., certificate management, user access control)

• Familiarity with ITIL and Agile methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build effective cross-functional networks.
