VoucherCodes, a key part of Ziff Davis Shopping, is looking for a Test Engineer to join our Engineering team in London. In this hybrid role, you will join a collaborative squad of over 25 UK-based engineers within a global team of 50+, reporting to the Engineering Manager. You will play a vital role in our full-stack agile teams, partnering closely with Product, UI, and Backend engineers to deliver the best possible experience to our 8 million monthly visitors. This is a great chance to lead high-impact projects and own the quality strategy for our next-generation platform. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for their next challenge in their testing career; collaborating with our talented Engineering squad to improve our test suites quality and efficiency., * Maintaining and developing automated test suites, aiming for constant improvement
- Preventing bugs and issues by thinking of relevant scenarios that can help meet the validation of acceptance criteria at the story development stage
- Contributing to planning sessions with estimations and timelines
- Devising and carrying out both manual and automated testing to ensure the quality of the software under test
- Helping keep our CI pipelines healthy
- Working closely with your team to ensure all testing, manual or automated, is accurately planned within the overall agreed timeframes of the project - helping to embed quality as early as possible
- Adopting logical approaches to tasks
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience within a QA role
- At least 1 year of experience automating tests
- Experience with Javascript
- Experience of an Agile Development environment
- Good communication skills
- Any experience with CI/CD desirable
- Any experience with SQL desirable
- Any experience with AWS technologies, Docker, Kubernetes is desirable
