Job description

We are looking for a Head of Digital to take ownership of paid and organic digital channels, with a strong focus on Google Ads performance. This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the numbers while also shaping overall digital strategy.

You will play a key role in driving online revenue, optimising campaigns, and identifying new opportunities across multiple digital marketing channels.

Headline Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage Google Ads campaigns (Search, Shopping, Display, Performance Max) with full responsibility for budget, performance, and ROI
  • Plan, execute, and optimise paid media strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth
  • Work hands-on across a range of digital marketing channels including: Paid Social, SEO, Email Marketing & CRO
  • Analyse campaign performance using Google Analytics and other reporting tools, providing clear insights and recommendations
  • Test and scale new channels, audiences, and creatives
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g. ecommerce, creative, operations) to align marketing activity with commercial goals
  • Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns in an ecommerce or online retail environment
  • Strong hands-on ability across multiple digital marketing channels (not just strategy)
  • Experience working with sizeable paid media budgets and performance targets
  • Confident using analytics tools to measure, report, and optimise performance
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on ROI and growth
  • Comfortable working in an office-based role and being part of a collaborative team environment
