We as Global Digital Services enable BASFs digitalization. In agile teams, we develop innovative digital solutions for BASF and its customers, create new exciting customer experiences and business growth, and drive efficiencies in processes. We provide IT that works and offer know-how and access to the latest technologies in the areas of cloud computing, blockchain or big data. Responsibilities

• In your new role, you will develop and configure different applications in the EHS area, focusinglak SAP EHS Classic Substance Volume Tracking and Dangerous Goods Management, both from functional and technical perspective.
• You will be part of an agile product team and contribute to create iteration plans and deliver the agreed increments and team objectives.
• You will create technical designs, implement new and enhance existing applications, while ensuring sustainable solutions from a technical point of view.
• You will leverage advanced development standards to write sophisticated code and logic for complex enhancements and applications.
• Further, you will cultivate positive relationships with the Product Ownercharges and other stakeholders to confirm that the code and acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality.
• In addition, you will apply your skills in requirements engineering, research, design, prototyping and other exploration activities to design, build and operate high-quality components and solutions.
• You will utilize and enlarge your area of expertise into other areas of the product team LIB portfolio to aid BASFs operational divisions in maintaining efficient processes that comply with regulatory and legal requirements.

• Bachelor or Master degree preferably in Information Technology, business informatics, or in a comparable field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional SAP ABAP development experience, incl. ABAP OO, S/4 HANA, API and Fiory implementation.
• At least 3 years of in-depth DevOps experience in SAP EHS solutions dangerous goods and substance volume tracking, incl. extensibility of applications.
• Good understanding of system background in both SAP R/3 and SAP S/4 environments.
• Ability to work in a multicultural and virtual environment within an agile framework.
• Experience in using agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Demonstrated willingness and ability to welcome and drive change, coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Excellent English skills, additional German skills beneficial.
