Job description

Take direct responsibility for a customer-centric and high performing operations within the Fulfilment function by leading, steering, planning, supporting, and following up the operations, the development of the organization as well as cost optimization opportunities; accountable for a strong collaboration and cocreation with counterparts (commercial team and support functions), on both store/market area and country level. Customer Fulfilment (CFF) is a fundamental part in making IKEA multichannel retailing in reality. To support IKEA in achieving business objectives, CFF acts as a fully integrated, process-oriented organization with an end-to- end approach to develop our business and deliver results across functions together with our partners. We are focusing on providing seamless shopping experience with great quality in all touchpoints for the many people. As part of Customer Fulfilment, the function of Unit Fulfilment will contribute to this objective by:

  • taking a lead and overall responsibility for operational excellence, performance, and development of fulfilment units within the market

  • striving for high performance at lowest possible cost and long-term profitability acting in a responsible way and thereby create great customer experience

  • secure development and well-being environment for our many co-workers in Unit Fulfilment.

  • enabling preconditions, securing availability and efficient execution of the replenishment process and the customer order fulfilment processes in the fulfilment unit.

  • continuous improvement and securing fulfilment of products through all sales channels with great lead times, availability and quality at the lowest possible costs that enable an affordable price and profitability

  • Knowledge that Counts: Good knowledge of IKEA processes (retail and/or logistics processes), tools and working methods leading to excellent operations. Understanding of customer's needs, demands and expectations in the local market. Possessing knowledge and understanding of KPIs used for success measures for own function. Well versed with relevant IT systems/solutions/tools.

  • Operational Approach: Enjoy applying a tactical and operational approach for analyzing business opportunities from customer/market perspective and inspired by challenging situations.

  • Customer Satisfaction: Enjoy providing service and support to managers, co-workers, and the organization in order to improve the business with focus on customer satisfaction. What You've Done So Far, * Contributing to the planning and execution of Commercial activation at the local and market level.

  • Contributing to the execution of Operational Forecasting in the unit in co-operation with commercial partners, by proactively monitoring and highlighting deviations and securing high quality in the operational forecast.

  • Secure correct stock accuracy in the unit by proactively monitoring and taking needed actions.

  • Contributing to securing optimal Stock structure to reduce avoidable stock, resulting in healthy capacity utilization and low costs.

  • Ensure that the goods flow process is executed according to standard operating procedures, including safety and quality measures.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders such as Service Fulfilment and CDC concerning the forward and reverse flow of goods, material handling, replenishment waste management, and handover of clickand-collect orders.

  • Work closely with the Shop commercial team to ensure that resources are secured to handle the volume as per the forecast and commercial calendar.

Requirements

University degree (Logistics, Economics, Business Administration or related) or equivalent working experience in retail/home furnishing/supply chain/customer service., * University degree (Logistics, Economics, Business Administration or related) or equivalent working experience in retail/home furnishing/supply chain/customer service.

  • Possess good computer skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proven analytical and numeric skills with the ability to identify and address required actions
