Senior Laravel Developer

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Laravel Developer to join a forward-thinking organisation's IT and development team, working on modern, scalable systems that support a large and diverse user base. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining applications built using Laravel, PHP, Vue, TypeScript, MySQL, and AWS services. The position combines hands-on development with technical leadership, contributing to architectural decisions, modernisation of legacy systems, and mentoring of other developers. This role is ideal for an experienced full-stack developer who enjoys working across backend and frontend technologies, driving best practice, and helping shape the technical direction of a growing digital platform. The Role:

• Design and develop modern, scalable applications using Laravel, Vue, TypeScript, and MySQL
• Lead the delivery of complex features and contribute to system architecture and technical decision-making
• Improve automated testing, performance, security, and overall code quality
• Build and maintain high-quality APIs and frontend SPA/PWA interfaces
• Mentor developers and support best practice across the engineering team

Strong experience with Laravel, PHP, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue and TypeScript

• Solid understanding of application architecture, performance optimisation, and secure coding practices
• Experience working with AWS services and containerised deployment environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
