Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a key role in building and maintaining our cloud-native platform infrastructure on AWS. You will be responsible for designing, automating, and optimizing our AWS-based platform using Terraform, Kubernetes, and scripting. You will ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and optimized to meet the demands of a fast-paced financial services environment.

Collaborating with software and data engineering, security, and product teams, you will define and execute a strategic vision for platform engineering while driving operational excellence and innovation.

You Will:

Infrastructure & Automation:

• Design, implement and manage AWS infrastructure
• Deploy scale and maintain Kubernetes clusters
• Automate infrastructure and operations to improve efficiency

Performance & Reliability:

• Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability
• Monitor and analyse AWS resources to proactively resolve issues
• Improve observability

Collaboration & Compliance:

• Work with development and security teams to enhance platform resilience and security posture
• Collaborate with application developers to build CI/CD pipelines and workflows
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards in the financial industry

Do you have experience in Terraform?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Experience:
• 10+ years of experience in platform engineering, infrastructure, or cloud architecture roles.
• Proven expertise in designing and managing AWS cloud-native architectures.
• Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries will be considered an advantage

Technical skills:

• Infrastructure as code: Hands-on experience with Terraform
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Ci/CD & Automation: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud architecture: understanding of cloud best practises for highly available, elastic, and scalable solutions
• AWS Services: Proficiency with IAM, Lambda, S3 and other core AWS services
• Scripting experience: python or similar

Leadership & Collaboration skills:

• Ability to work cross-functionally with development and security teams
• Ability to drive change
