Job description
- Senior Systems Engineer, salary up to £70,000
- Hybrid working, 3 days per week onsite
- Work across secure communications, RF systems and complex defence related technology
- Opportunity to lead systems engineering activity across the full product lifecycle
- SC Eligibility required, Our client is a specialist engineering organisation developing advanced, mission critical technology solutions for highly demanding operational environments. Working across complex communications and sensing systems, they are known for combining innovation with robust engineering practices. Due to continued project demand, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to strengthen their engineering capability., As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a key role across the full product lifecycle, from bid support and requirements capture through to architecture definition, verification and delivery. You will provide technical leadership, working closely with RF, hardware, mechanical and software teams to deliver bespoke engineering solutions across both new product development and live customer programmes. You will take ownership of system level design, manage trade offs, lead design reviews, and ensure solutions are delivered to specification, on time and within budget.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Senior Systems Engineer or equivalent role
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering processes and methodologies
- Experience across the full engineering development lifecycle
- Ability to define system architectures and manage requirements
- Confident working across multi discipline engineering teams
- Eligible for UK security clearance (SC), Senior Systems Engineer, Systems Engineering, Requirements Management, System Architecture, Verification and Validation, Defence, Communications Systems, RF, NSD
