Job description
As an IT Inhouse Consultant (m/f/d) for Point of Sale in our familyowned company, you will be responsible for the processes and systems used in our global retail shops - for example at airports and on cruise ships - as well as their integration into a heterogeneous system landscape. With your innovative solutions, you will help create unforgettable shopping experiences for our international customers. In particular you will
- advise business departments on all IT and processrelated questions concerning checkout and shop solutions (POS, selfcheckout, electronic shelf labeling, digital signage, etc.) for our international stores
- independently manage globally oriented IT projects and effectively coordinating internal and external partners and service providers
- actively shape the IT solution design of the systems you oversee while keeping the overall IT architecture in mind
- contribute new ideas and trends and freely design, develop, and enhance processes and systems
Requirements
Do you have experience in Agile?, * A successfully completed degree or a comparable qualification, along with relevant professional experience as an internal or external IT consultant
- Solid experience in independently planning and implementing projects or subprojects within agile teams
- Strong technological understanding and an affinity for innovative checkout solutions, ideally in a retail environment
- Excellent written and spoken English skills, as well as good German skills
- Strong analytical abilities and technical expertise, combined with a strategic and structured working style that enables you to achieve defined goals
- A communicative and empathetic approach that fosters a productive, resultsoriented collaboration within the team and with your interfaces
