This pivotal six-month project offers a DevOps Engineer the chance to significantly enhance cloud infrastructure by designing and managing scalable Amazon EKS clusters. You will leverage deep expertise in Kubernetes and Terraform to implement advanced architectures and ensure the reliability and security of containerized workloads within the AWS ecosystem. This role provides an opportunity to enforce Infrastructure-as-Code best practices, optimize performance, and make a high-impact contribution. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Work on a project with a 6 months duration;
- Design, deploy, and manage Amazon EKS clusters across multiple accounts and regions;
- Implement advanced Kubernetes architectures including multi-tenant clusters, namespaces, RBAC, and network policies;
- Develop and maintain custom Kubernetes resources and controllers to extend cluster functionality;
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of containerized workloads;
- Integrate Kubernetes with AWS ecosystem services such as IAM, ALB Ingress Controller, and CloudWatch;
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Terraform for cluster and workload provisioning;
- Perform cluster monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning for performance and cost optimization;
- Establish and enforce best practices and standards for Kubernetes and container orchestration.

- Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative environment;
- 3-5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer;
- Proven track record managing AWS environments with multiple services and accounts;
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals including API server, scheduler, controllers, CRDs, and admission controllers;
- Strong experience with EKS and self-managed Kubernetes clusters;
- Ability to design and implement custom Kubernetes resources and controllers using the Operator pattern and controller-runtime;
- Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code;
- Strong knowledge of containerization with Docker and container lifecycle;
- Upper-intermediate English level.
NICE TO HAVES
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Associate or Professional certification;
- Kubernetes certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or CKS;
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK;
- Strong scripting skills with Python or Bash;
- Working knowledge of developing basic REST API Services.
