Mentor and source of information for the engineering team
Sparring partner for the Product Owner (roadmap, priorities, risks)
Contributing to features and complex technical deliverables
Developing features: determining the "How"
Point of contact for other teams; able to navigate politics within the organization
Liaison between business, security, and engineering
Monitoring quality, security, and architecture choices
Reviewing code, IaC, and architecture proposals
Requirements
Do you have experience in TypeScript?, At least 5 years of AWS experience
Strong knowledge of:
Networking (VPC, TGW, PrivateLink, routing)
Databases (RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, MongoDB)
Landing zones (Control Tower, multi-account patterns)
Experience with:
Terraform (modules, state management, reviews)
CI/CD (GitHub/GitLab)
At least one programming language (Python, Go, TypeScript)
Architecture design (HLD/LLD)
Security best practices
AWS Professional certification (required)
Tooling & technical skills
Terraform (must)
GitHub/GitLab CI/CD
CloudWatch, X-Ray, monitoring/observability
GitOps workflows (branching, PR reviews, drift detection)
Soft skills
