IT System Technician

Onboarding Tasks Include:

• Creating and setting up RDS servers
• Configuring VPN connections
• Creating AD user accounts for customers
• Setting up NTFS file storage and permissions based on a permission matrix
• Integrating M365 tenants into our Microsoft Partner Center
• Installing customer-specific third-party and/or cantonal applications on the RDS server
• Setting up customer tenants in the ERP system
• Migrating data from other IT service providers (file storage, SQL databases)
• Performing database migrations (executing scripts)
• Installing and configuring network components at customer sites (field service)

• Vocational training in IT (EFZ or HF) or related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in similar role like: IT System Administrator / IT Infrastructure Specialist, Cloud Support Engineer / Cloud Onboarding Specialist, Technical Consultant or related role
• Required Technical Knowledge:

• Microsoft Windows 11
• Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or newer
• Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft M365
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (AD)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
• General knowledge of networking, firewalls, and switches

• Very good level of German (C1/C2) and/ or Swiss German is required

• Contract Duration: 6-9 months, with the option to extend or transition to a permanent (FTE) position
• Location Requirement: The customer site is located near Lake Baldegg. We are looking for candidates who can reliably commute to the location within 45 minutes.
• Possibility to work from home and On-site Presence: 60-80% expected in Baldegg, with up to 20% remote work flexibility
• Working Hours: 100% workload, 40 hours per week

Together, you'll work on a Swiss-hosted remote desktop infrastructure designed specifically for public sector clients such as municipalities and local governments. Each customer is provided with their own virtual server and a secure VPN connection to their local network.
