Your role We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer (Hybrid, Madrid) to join our team and work on cutting-edge Data projects. What you will do * Design, build, and evolve data solutions on Azure and Microsoft Fabric * Deliver end-to-end data engineering consulting projects across multiple industries * Work closely with clients in a hybrid model, providing tailored solutions aligned with business goals * Collaborate with an international team of data experts, contributing to shared growth and knowledge Key Requirements * Strong experience with Azure Data Platform (ADF, Synapse, Data Lake Gen2, Azure Functions, Logic Apps) * Hands-on expertise with Databricks and Microsoft Fabric *

Advanced skills in Python / PySpark and SQL * Experience with batch data architectures (Medallion Architecture) * Solid background in data modelling (star & snowflake schemas) * CI/CD experience using Azure DevOps * Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or Pulumi) * Experience working in Agile environments * Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills * Fluent in Spanish and English * Azure / Databricks certifications are a strong plus Nice to have: * Real-time data processing (Kafka, Structured Streaming, Delta Live Tables, Fabric Eventhouse) * Master Data Management & Governance (Profisee, Microsoft Purview) Why MDW? * Hybrid position in Madrid * Competitive salary based on your experience * 6 weeks holidays * Work on disruptive Data & AI projects with top clients * Grow your expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem within a dynamic international team
