IT System Infrastructure Engineer

Keystone Solutions is seeking a Medior IT System Engineer to join our consultancy team. This is a consultancy mission delivered by Keystone Solutions at a client site, where you will work closely with the clients Internal System Infrastructure team and their external IT service provider. You will perform all responsibilities below as a Keystone Solutions consultant, embedded with the client.

Consultancy Model at Keystone Solutions:

As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will operate on-site at the client (with hybrid collaboration where applicable), partnering with the clients teams and their external IT service provider. You will contribute to design, implementation, and secure operations under Keystones consultancy framework while benefiting from our community, coaching, and knowledge-sharing culture.

About the Client Environment:

The clients IT infrastructure is partially outsourced to an external IT service provider that handles the setup and day-to-day management. The clients Internal System Infrastructure team collaborates intensively with this service provider to set up and run the infrastructure and keep it secure. Important note: being a specialist in all solutions is not required as the day-to-day management is outsourced; a generalist mindset to glue all components together is.

Infrastructure You Will Co-Manage:

• Network (firewall, switching)
• Security components (web application firewall, anti-DDoS, web proxy)
• Database (SQL Server)
• Storage
• Servers (Windows and Linux)
• Cloud infrastructure (Azure)
• Workstations (Windows)
• Mobile devices (Apple iOS devices)

Responsibilities:

• Help with design and set up new infrastructure or applications in a secure way
• Collaborating with the clients applicative IT team, client business users and external service provider to implement the correct infrastructure for the business requirements and non-functional requirements like high availability and security
• The day-to-day management of applicative issues together with other teams at the client or service provider in the most secure way
• Troubleshooting and technical support in collaboration with colleagues and service provider
• The handling and follow-up of security incidents
• The documentation of information for IT people and end users
• Providing the link with the first level and third level teams

Next to this team you will be mainly working close together with the external service provider, the client service desk, PC desk and the larger IT team that manages BI and application development of the clients business.

Do you have experience in iOS development?, * An IT background (and/or education) is mandatory
