IT Operations Engineer

Join our team responsible for the stability and evolution of systems within the Core Banking area. You will be responsible for system maintenance, but also for driving performance improvements and automation. We are looking for a specialist with an analytical mindset who enjoys log analysis and process optimization., * Handling and solving incidents from production and development environments (within agreed SLA).

• Releases of new version of applications
• Managing Core Banking problems and root cause analysis.
• Performing planned and ad hoc processes (not yet automated) or activities.
• Finding performance/stability issues and proposing improvements.
• Configuring application monitoring (ElasticSearch stack) based on technical and business requirements.
• Working hand-in-hand with developers to solve bugs and major application issues.
• Creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for typical actions.
• Automating repetitive tasks (e.g., based on SOP).
• Following standard operating procedures, system development life cycle methodology, and company policies

• Linux & Bash: Basic knowledge of Linux environments and the ability to create simple Bash scripts.
• Log Analysis: Experience in analyzing application logs (familiarity with Kibana is highly welcome).
• Git/GitLab: Basic knowledge and experience working with version control systems.
• ITSM & Tools: Familiarity with ITSM methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Scheduling: Experience with workload automation/schedulers (e.g., AutomateNow).
