Infrastructure Engineer

Connect Group is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (Mid-Level). As an Infrastructure Engineer, you ensure a reliable, secure and high-performing IT infrastructure that supports our production environment. You implement technical improvements, solve complex incidents, optimize performance and work closely with production and maintenance teams to keep operations running smoothly., * Improve and maintain network and server infrastructure (Wi-Fi upgrades, storage expansion, etc.).

• Resolve complex Tier-2 incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Execute ITIL-based change management and coordinate infrastructure updates.
• Monitor performance and capacity of servers, storage and networks.
• Securely integrate factory equipment and OT networks with corporate IT.

• Strong experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi and vCenter.
• Hands-on knowledge of enterprise storage (Pure Storage, HPE Nimble).
• Skilled in Veeam Backup & Replication (backup, restore, DR testing).
• Solid networking skills: Fortigate, Aruba or Meraki; VLANs, VPNs, segmentation.
• Experience with hybrid cloud (Azure, Microsoft 365, Hybrid AD).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as PRTG.
• Language skills: Strong command of Dutch and English (spoken and written) to collaborate effectively with local teams and global IT stakeholders

Nice to Have: ISO27001/NIS2 knowledge, DR/BCP experience, basic PowerShell scripting, understanding of MES/ERP application environments.
