Job description
You work hands-on in real customer environments: building data pipelines, implementing integrations, debugging complex setups, and ensuring customers realize measurable value from our platform. You operate at the intersection of Sales, Engineering, and Product, working closely with our founders, Account Executive, and engineering team., * Own end-to-end POC delivery, from technical scoping to successful validation
- Deploy Tenzir in customer environments (containerized, on-prem, or cloud)
- Build customer pipelines using TQL (Tenzir Query Language)
- Implement integrations with SIEMs, data lakes, security tools, and cloud platforms
- Debug and troubleshoot issues collaboratively with customers
- Document implemented solutions to enable long-term customer success
Technical sales support (25%)
- Deliver technical demos focused on real customer use cases
- Lead discovery conversations on customer architectures and pain points
- Build tailored demo environments for specific industries and scenarios
- Create technical proposals mapping customer requirements to Tenzir capabilities
- Support the Account Executive as the technical expert throughout the sales cycle
Enablement & scaling (15%)
- Build reusable assets such as pipeline templates, integration guides, and runbooks
- Define POC best practices and success criteria
- Feed customer insights back to engineering and product
- Create technical content that enables customer self-service
- Document learnings to onboard and enable future hires, * Technical depth: Solve complex data pipeline and integration challenges across diverse environments
- Build the playbook: Define how we run POCs, what success looks like, and how we scale implementations
- Customer partnerships: Work closely with security and data engineering teams that rely on your expertise
- Product influence: Your field experience directly shapes our roadmap
- Compensation: Base salary range of €60,000-€100,000 (depending on experience and location)

Interview process
Our hiring process typically takes 2-3 weeks and includes the following steps:
- Initial call (30 minutes) with our VP Sales
- Technical deep-dive (60 minutes) including architecture discussion and live troubleshooting with our founder
- Team fit conversation (30 minutes) with HR

Requirements
Do you have experience in TypeScript?, * 3+ years of hands-on experience in customer-facing technical implementation roles
- Strong engineering fundamentals with real coding skills
- Experience implementing data pipelines or integrations in customer environments
- Comfort working directly in customer infrastructure (debugging, troubleshooting, pair programming)
- Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear customer guidance
- Proven track record of successful POCs or implementations with commercial impact
- Excellent professional English (written and spoken)
- Residency in an EU timezone with unrestricted right to work in the EU or an EU-adequate country, * Data & Streaming: Experience with data pipelines, ETL, or streaming systems (e.g. Kafka, Cribl, Logstash, Fluentd)
- Query Languages: Strong SQL; familiarity with SPL, KQL, or similar
- Programming: Strong Python and/or TypeScript; ability to write production-quality code
- APIs & Integration: REST APIs, webhooks, authentication patterns, enterprise integrations
- Infrastructure: Linux administration, Docker/containerization, configuration management (Ansible, Terraform), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), basic Kubernetes
- Security Domain: Understanding of logs, SIEM concepts, and common security data formats (JSON, CEF, syslog)
- Data Formats: JSON manipulation, schema design, and data normalization concepts
