CDaaS Platform Engineer

We are looking for a skilled CDaaS Platform Engineer to join our team at NN and help us achieve our goal of becoming a socially responsible tech company that delivers digital products our customers love. Your impact as CDaaS Platform engineer at NN:

• As a CDaaS Platform engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the engineering journey within NN by ensuring the security and usability of the NN engineering ecosystem.

• The NN CDaaS Platform consists of three teams that have complementary responsibilities. Within the foundation team we make sure that tools are available, secure and correctly setup. The CDaaS enablement team is responsible for putting additional security and compliance measure on these tools and to expose the products to consumers within the company. The CDaaS platform team is responsible for building a platform that takes care of automation of security, compliance and developer enablement.

• The CDaaS teams have a disciplined way of working which also directly contributes to personal growth of team members in this team. Pair- and mob-programming are common practice, as is dedicated time for individual learning and very short feedback cycles.

• The goal of this engagement is to extend the capabilities of the CDaaS platform to accelerate the delivery of business value through solutions that remove toil, automation security and compliance measures and improvement of the developer experience/

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop Python code to automate operational work
• Write infrastructure as code with CDK on AWS
• Support CDaaS customers with operational questions
• Work with Kubernetes

Your Colleagues: You will be part of the CDaaS team, which is part of NN's Engineering Experience & Platforms domain. In this environment, you will also find the Kubernetes platform teams and Internal Developer Platform team as your direct colleagues. This domain is responsible for optimizing the NN engineering experience by delivering a frictionless and integrated engineering journey through the Internal Developer Platform and supporting the software delivery lifecycle with CI/CD solutions. While also offering several reliable platforms that provide integration or hosting solutions (e.g. API Gateway and Kubernetes). We serve DevOps teams within NN globally and we can measure our success using the DORA metrics (amongst others). We are successful when DevOps teams optimize their performance on deployment frequency, change lead time, change failure rate, mean time to recover. Do you have experience in Usability?, You bring a positive mindset and energy, which makes you great to work with. You always have new ideas, you see possibilities and learn from situations. Furthermore, you recognize yourself in (multiple) of the following skills and experiences:

• Approximately 3-4 years of experience in Python
• Solid knowledge on Event Driven Architecture
• Knowledge and practical experience in test automation
• CDK knowledge
