Job description

The Senior Application Support Analyst provides first to third-line technical support for internal and external customers, ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of applications. This role involves diagnosing and resolving system issues, optimising software performance, collaborating with other teams, and leading technical problem-solving efforts.

What you'll be doing:

You'll sit at the heart of a business-critical platform/s. You'll also take full ownership of incidents, service requests, problems, and changes, acting as a trusted point of contact for users while leading the response to major incidents and complex technical challenges. Working closely with suppliers, you'll play a pivotal role in keeping systems running smoothly. Beyond day-to-day support, you'll help shape how the service operates by driving process and product improvements, influencing best practice.

Requirements

  • Infor (LN) ERP experience is essential
  • Experience of supporting various ERP/Apps is ideal.
  • Acting as the escalation point for complex application issues and requests.
  • Troubleshoot application defects, ensuring minimal disruption to live environments.
  • Develop and maintain system monitoring tools to detect and prevent downtime.
  • Run SQL queries, create import files, and make use of APIs to support data changes.
  • Experience troubleshooting application logs, Windows Event Viewer, and system errors.
  • Hands-on experience with system integration, configuration, and maintenance.
  • 5+ years' experience in IT Application Support in a customer-focused environment.

Benefits & conditions

In return, you'll receive a salary of £45,000 - £55,000 + benefits package. The role offers hybrid working with 2-3 days per week in Kidderminster and progressional opportunity into a managerial role as the business grows.
