Job description

The successful candidate will manage the ICT & Data team, in accordance with Council policy and procedures, overseeing the MIS, data and technical support service offered to schools and the directorate of Learning & Skills. The successful candidate will ensure that MIS and other data solutions are accurate, reliable and secure. They will work with the Performance lead and DMT to meet schools and the directorate's current and future needs. This role involves leading a team of diverse and experienced professionals and working closely with other IT leaders and stakeholders.

Requirements

Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong planning and organisational skills. Experience in MIS, ICT technical support or data management or a similar leadership role Proven track record of contributing to/ delivering large-scale projects. Experience of change management Experience in leading and managing a team of IT professionals.
