Job description
- Designing and delivering scalable, secure, and resilient platform solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and automation frameworks to drive consistent, high-quality delivery.
- Working closely with SRE and operations teams to ensure system reliability, performance, and availability.
- Acting as a subject matter expert for platform technologies, guiding architectural decisions and mentoring engineers.
- Evaluating and adopting new technologies to strengthen platform innovation and long-term scalability.
- Supporting governance, incident response, and strategic platform planning across hybrid environments.
Requirements
- Proven background in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure development.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tooling, monitoring, and automation practices.
- Understanding of platform security, compliance, and operational resilience.
- Confident communicator with experience collaborating across technical and business teams.
- Eligibility for SC clearance (UK sole nationals only) - DV clearance desirable.
