Job description

  • Field Service Engineer
  • Systems Design Engineer
  • Electrical Engineer

What you'll do:

  • Design and deploy test systems for PCB and/or product-level testing
  • Maintain and optimise production test processes for reliability and efficiency
  • Analyse machine data and apply problem-solving techniques to improve capability and quality
  • Support new product introductions and continuous improvement projects
  • Collaborate globally to share best practices and standardise solutions
  • Mentor technicians and peers on test engineering principles

Requirements

  • Degree/HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Hands-on experience with automated or manual test systems in manufacturing
  • Strong problem-solving skills using statistical methods
  • Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to all audiences

Desirable Skills:

  • Programming exposure (C/C++, low-code, or graphical environments)
  • Experience with ICT platforms (Keysight, Teradyne) or flying-probe systems (Takaya, SPEA)
  • Familiarity with PLC-based control systems (Siemens TIA Portal advantageous)
  • Knowledge of PUWER and risk assessment processes
