Data Operation Specialist

The Global Data Operations Specialist is responsible for running the Havas data management platforms. They ensure data operations delivery and excellent customer service. They work on the global integration of the team, acting as a bridge between different areas located globally, and ensuring knowledge flow across all areas. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Data Solutions., * Data operations management: Ensure the data platforms and processes are functioning well, including data collection, integration, and processing. Monitor and manage data quality and data integrations. Perform corrective and evolutive maintenance of data exchange and solutions. Responsible for data quality and security. Ensure quality of service; support users, resolve technical issues, and assist in technical improvements. Document data operations and monitoring solutions clearly.

• Team management: Coach, guide, and support the team of data operations specialists and developers. Motivate and foster a positive work environment. Ensure knowledge transfer flows in both directions and establish protocols to guarantee this. Develop team effectiveness.

Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.

Previous Experience

At least 3 years of professional experience in data management.

Language Skills

English (Excellent), Spanish (Excellent) is a must. Other levels: Good, Fair, Preferable, Not Required.

Key Competencies

• Broad knowledge of data platforms in the media space, both infrastructure and operational levels.
• Strong command of ad-serving systems, DSPs, and data management solutions.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in data technology/management on a big data platform.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL.
• Skills in languages such as Java, Perl, Python, Shell scripting (Unix).
• Knowledge of new-generation data platforms like MPP databases, Hadoop, or Spark is a plus.
• Experience with IT procedures, data quality requirements, and agile/SCRUM environments.
• Knowledge of cloud computing (Google Cloud, AWS).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Proactive self-starter.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with IT project management software.
• Experience in writing technical documentation and operational how-tos.
