Job description

This is an junior IT Support/Infrastructure role for someone looking to build a solid career in IT support and infrastructure. You'll be part of a internal IT function that keeps systems, devices, and users operating effectively across the organisation. This is a huge opportunity for someone to build on their current IT experience, get exposure to a wide range of technologies and really add value to the IT Division.

You'll act as the first point of contact for internal IT issues, while also gaining exposure to wider infrastructure activities as your skills develop. It's a hands-on position with real learning opportunities across networking, systems, and end-user support. You will be required to be in the office 5 days a week.

· Acting as the front line for IT queries via ticketing system, phone, and in-person support

· Logging, triaging, and progressing support requests, escalating where appropriate

· Preparing, configuring, and deploying IT equipment for staff

· Maintaining organised, functional IT workspaces and storage areas

· Carrying out routine checks and preventative maintenance tasks

· Supporting wider IT and infrastructure initiatives when required

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Microsoft Office?, · A minimum of 6 months IT Support experience

· Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365 or similar

· A passion for IT, keen to learn and build a career within the IT industry!

· Full drivers licence with access to car

· Excellent communication skills

This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who is keen to learn, enjoys helping people, and wants exposure beyond pure service desk work into infrastructure and systems support. You must be a 'People person' confident dealing with a range of users, providing a friendly and personal service.
