Job description

Frasers Group are currently looking for a Senior Backend Engineer for Digital Data Squad to join our growing IT function and work as part of an enthusiastic, motivated, and delivery focused agile team. Frasers Group are a global powerhouse within retail, made up of household names such as Sports Direct and USC. IT at Frasers Group is delivered by the in-house team who are passionate about what they do and are not dependent on outsourced organisations to deliver the core systems. There is a wealth of opportunity for training as well as on the job learning., * Working on all aspects of our state of the art, inhouse developed, ecommerce platform. Our platform runs over 50 websites - including some of the biggest names in Retail

  • Providing innovative, fast, and reliable websites by building robust interconnected data applications and services that serves large quantities of data
  • Developing on the backend, mostly with data related systems with a range of exciting technologies
  • Managing the full software development lifecycle, ensuring appreciation of quality assurance, continuous integration/delivery, and the benefits of automation
  • Designing, developing, and testing, fast, scalable, and architecturally robust solutions
  • Staying up to date with the latest technology and industry trends, continuously looking for ways to apply them for our benefit

Requirements

Do you have experience in gRPC?, We are looking for proven experience with -

  • .Net Core (C#)
  • Relational (Sql Server/Oracle) and NoSQL databases
  • Microservices & distributed systems architecture
  • Cloud Experience
  • 5 years experience in a similar role
