Job description
We are delivering a market leading EduTech platform and are now undertaking a significant visual and experience led transformation., * Own the frontend aesthetic and user experience across KSOL's website
- Redesign content heavy pages into clean, intuitive journeys
- Establish clear visual hierarchy for parents making high stakes decisions
- Design and implement a scalable UI design system
- Translate design concepts into pixel accurate frontend code
- Implement responsive layouts with strong performance and accessibility
- Collaborate with developers to integrate designs into the CMS, * Can you provide a link to your portfolio showing modern HTML and CSS implemented within a frontend framework?
Requirements
Do you have experience in UX?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Design First Mindset
- Strong visual judgement across spacing, typography, and hierarchy
- A clear eye for modern, premium UI
- Able to explain and defend design decisions
- Frontend Skills
- Strong HTML and CSS skills
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Next.js
- Confident building responsive, mobile first layouts
- Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar systems
- Comfortable working in Figma
- Able to move cleanly from design concept to initial frontend build, including the use of AI tools where appropriate
- Understands accessibility and modern web standards, * You describe yourself as a Frontend Designer or Design Engineer with clear understanding of development criteria using CSS or React
- Has a strong portfolio demonstrating modern UI and UX
- Graduate applications are welcome, provided you already demonstrate strong design judgement and a portfolio of modern UI work. This is not a general graduate role.
