Job description
This is a full-time on-site role for a 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer at Darnell IT Solutions in Whalley. The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, managing system administration tasks, and offering help desk support to clients on a day-to-day basis.
What You'll Do:
· Monitor Cloud & Onsite backups - Making sure they're running correctly and resolving any errors.
· Monitor our RMM - Make sure patches are installed correctly and resolving any errors.
· Monitor EDR & ITDR - Checking to make sure it hasn't found any threats and escalate any issues it may find.
· Handle incoming tickets via phone and email, providing effective solutions to customer issues, and escalating any issues that require further support.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical support?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, · Excellent communication skills - both verbal & written.
· Proficient in Windows and Microsoft 365 products
· Experience with Windows troubleshooting
· Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Administration
· Familiarity with Microsoft Server & Active Directory
· Logical approach to problem solving
· Ability to work in a team and independently when required

Experience required:
· Two years experience for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or internal IT support, * A-Level or equivalent (preferred), * Technical support: 2 years (required)
