Job description

This is an on-site position based in Germany, offering the opportunity to work as part of a high-performing project team supporting the electrical delivery, coordination, and commissioning support on a technically complex build. You will work closely with subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure all works are completed safely, compliantly, and in line with programme requirements., * Ensure all works are delivered in line with the project's safety, quality, and compliance requirements

  • Coordinate, manage, and review electrical drawings as required
  • Provide technical guidance and support to subcontractor teams on-site
  • Allocate and prioritise work activities across the technical team
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance with all site and project requirements, including health & safety obligations
  • Apply troubleshooting techniques to identify issues and implement corrective actions
  • Manage document control and ensure all logs are kept up to date
  • Create handover packs and test packs for electrical systems
  • Ensure all compliance and governance requirements are identified and adhered to
  • Promote site best practice in safety and housekeeping standards
  • Complete weekly site safety observation reporting

Requirements

Do you have experience in Time management?, You are an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in electrical installation and delivery on large-scale projects, looking to join a leading specialist contractor delivering major data centre developments across Europe., * Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (or similar relevant discipline)

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar Electrical Engineering role within an M&E / contracting environment
  • Previous experience coordinating electrical installation works on-site
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, drawings, and installation standards
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Confident communicator, able to liaise with subcontractors and wider project teams
  • Strong troubleshooting ability and practical problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing documentation and maintaining project logs
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Data centre experience is advantageous
  • HNC / HND qualifications are beneficial
