Job description
Our innovative Category Development and Quality team are now accepting applications for a rewarding Data Analyst opportunity. This strategically important role is dedicated to Transforming Data & Analytics practices through the deployment of our modern Qlik Sense platform. It will focus on improving the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of business insights to allow faster, informed decision making. Based at our main site in Mallusk, you will work closely with management and data consumers, analysing their business intelligence (BI) and reporting requirements to help deliver modern, impactful solutions which minimise the effort required to collate and interpret core business data and metrics to drive competitive advantage. This role will be very well suited to candidate with data processing experience within the FMCG industry.
Working as Data Analyst you will:

Carry out analysis of business data and reporting requirements for departments.

Develop & Maintain dashboards, reports, and proactive insight visualisations to support departments.

Apply strong knowledge of Excel and Qlik Sense to maximise functionality & impact.

Deliver the right insights to the right users at the right time to allow faster decision making.

Promote good governance and standards in data management and business reporting.

Provide actionable insights to drive Innovation Strategy and Operational Excellence.

Produce regular reports on key metrics, i.e. retail sales, store or concept performance, waste and pricing and margin analysis.

Ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality through regular validation and cleaning processes.

Report on potential value of development pipeline at feasibility, development and implementation

Analyse and report on post launch performance of product and concepts developed through the development pipeline.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Teaching?, * Have completed 3 years' experience in FMCG sector processing data and creating relevant business dashboards.
- Advanced Excel experience
- Experience in data quality improvement
- Experience building dashboard & storyboards
- Experience in modern business intelligence tools (e.g., Qlik, Tableau, Power BI)

It is desirable if you have:
- Third level business, IT or Data & Analytics qualification
- Experience in Agile project management
- Experience in delivering training.
- Experience in self-service automation technologies
- Experience in Qlik scripting

This is a full-time position working 36.5 hours per week. Working hours will be 8:45am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am-3:45pm Friday. Hybrid and flexible working arrangement available.
