Job description
This position is ideal for early-career professionals seeking hands-on experience in backend software development. As a Software Engineer in the iTero team, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of innovative dental technology solutions, supporting the iTero scanner and related services. Working closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams, you'll gain exposure to modern backend technologies and cloud-based architectures. This internship is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, contribute to impactful projects, and learn best practices in a dynamic, global environment., * Assist in the development and maintenance of backend services for iTero products, including web APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design, implement, and test new features.
- Support deployment and DevOps activities under supervision.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
- Help analyze requirements and propose solutions for application enhancements.
- Document work and communicate progress to the team.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Software development?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Education: Completed a bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 1.5+ years in commercial development, with a strong foundation in .NET (C#).

Skills: Good knowledge of .NET development, REST APIs, ASP.Net Core and databases (SQL or NoSQL). Eagerness to learn new technologies such as cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), Auth0 and modern development practices.

Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take initiative when appropriate.

Experience with Git or other version control systems.

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.

Interest in data analysis, reporting, or DevOps tools (e.g., JIRA, BitBucket).

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
